Christmas in Middleburg
Kicking off the holiday season! Hounds and filed parade down Main Street prior to hunting, to the delight of thousands of spectators.
More details to come on specific time/location for riders to meet. If you are interested in capping this special day, please reach out to one of the masters for permission to participate.

Puppy Auction
To be hosted at Mount Harmony in the spectacular loft party room in the barn. Complete with cocktails and hors d’oevres, this party give you the chance to purchase the right to name one of Middlebur Hunt puppies. There is no charge to attend.
Form a syndicate or work alone, but put your hand up to be the successful bidder to name on of our future superstars!
Please bring your children. They will be put to work presenting puppies and there is no better combination.
Opening of Autumn Hunting - Glenwood Park
At Glenwood, please observe the posted speed limit. Park in the designated area being careful not to damage grass and do not drive beyond that area. Autumn hunting is open to subscribers and cappers. See the following page for more information about hunting with us.

Get Ready to Hunt trail ride at Tarleton
There will be a jumping and a non-jumping group. No charge for trail ride, but donations are much appreciated.
Approved helmets and negative coggins test required. If you have not signed a release form since May, please do so upon arrival.

Annual Masters Ball - New York City
We hope our subscribers and friends will consider traveling to New York to help Joint Master, Penny Denegre, celebrate her inauguration as President of the Masters of Foxhounds Association, our national association of mounted foxhunting.

Fox/Hound Day at Foxcroft School
Meet at 9 a.m. at the stable. The field and hounds will move off from the Head of School’s house, Covert.
As is the tradition, Foxcroft students will serve in honorary staff positions for the day of hunting. This is one of the ways we prepare future leaders of our sport.
MFHA Dog Daze
This MFHA event celebrates the working dog. The Middleburg hounds are the featured foxhounds and will parade to start the festivities. Our hounds were a big hit last year!
Theodora A. Randolph Field Hunter Championship
We are invited to host the competitors and judges of this Championship. The meet starts at 8AM and a wonderful tailgate and refreshments to follow the event!
Note: Riders and participants should enter and park at Warburg Lane (Snake Hill Farm Entrance) do not use main entrance. See the directions tab for additional details.
Puppy Auction - Mount Harmony
Diane and Larry Manning have invited us to the spectacular loft party room of their beautiful barn for this years puppy auction.
Complete with cocktails and fabulous hors d’oevres, this fundraising event gives you the chance to purchase naming rights for some of the Middleburg Hunt puppies. Form a syndicate or work alone, but put your hand up to be the successful bidder to name one of our future superstars! There is no charge to attend. Bring your children along to present the puppies for the auction - an adorable combination.

“Get Ready to Hunt” Ride - Dresden Farm
There will be jumping and non-jumping groups. Approved helmets and negative coggins are required. If you have not signed a release form since May of this year, we ask that you do so upon arrival, prior to participation.
Be sure to check the kennel tape for location and updates 540.687.8411. In the event of a change due for any reason, the tape will be updated no later than 6AM on the Saturday of the trail ride.
There is no charge for the rides, but donations are much appreciated!

There will be a jumping and non-jumping group. Approved helmets and negative coggins required. If you have not signed a release form since May of this year, we ask that you do so upon arrival, prior to participation.

Summer Trail Ride - Landfall Farm

Join us at 6PM for an evening trail ride at Landfall Farm . Cold drinks and light snacks will be provided after the ride. Directions: Please use the Cold Run entrance just to the north of the main Farm entrance on Tail Race Road. Go right around the pond and park in the field on the right.
There is no charge to ride, but donations are greatly appreciated!

Summer Trail Ride - Foxstone
Join us at Foxstone Farm for a July 4th ride! Refreshments will be served after the ride.
Directions: Park in the field we use for hunt meets. That is: turn off the Sam Fred Road onto Berryman Lane, then take an immediate left through the double farm gates and park in the field.
